kIDS & clydesdales
There is no more unique bond between man and beast than the bond between a kid and a Clydesdale. We see it everyday, by providing opportunities for the youth to interact with the Clydesdale breed. We hope to
instill a love for the Clydesdales
that will last for generations to come.
CLYDESDALE FACTS
The Clydesdales country of origin is Scotland.
Most mature
Clydesdales
weigh between 1600 and 2400 pounds.
The white hair on the Clydesdales legs are called feathers.
Clydesdales make great riding horses
and compete
in many equestrian sports.
The Clydesdale horse can
eat 25 to 50
pounds of
hay a day.
Many
Clydesdales hooves are as big as dinner
plates.
